His Journey Here: Dave earned his bachelor’s degree from University of California, Los Angeles and his law degree from Northwestern University. He moved from law into full-time writing in 2009 and has written more than 25,000 pages of content for law firms, small businesses and professional practices. He was deputy director of the Illinois Supreme Court on Professionalism, where he launched the commission’s blog and wrote monthly columns for the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.
