Dave earned his bachelor’s degree from UCLA and a law degree from Northwestern University School of Law.
Dave has always been a writer, but having expended a lot of time and money to go to law school, he figured he should at least give being a lawyer a shot. He gave it a shot for 16 years. Notwithstanding a successful career as a commercial litigation attorney, he could no longer deny who he was, so he left his practice and began openly writing full time. An experienced copywriter and content strategist on a wide range of subjects, Dave also served as deputy director of the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism, where he launched the commission’s blog and wrote monthly columns for the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.
St. John, U.S.V.I. – all Dave needs are some tasty waves and a good Internet connection and he’s fine.
What is “It’s a Wonderful Life”?
Dave’s winning Final Jeopardy answer to the question “Bert and Ernie of Sesame Street were named after two characters in this classic holiday film” on the December 24th, 1998 episode of “Jeopardy!” (they were the cop and the cab driver).
